I work in film production in New York as a convenient excuse to watch copious amounts of television. This blog is both a creative outlet and a way to make something tangible out of how I've spent all those hours. I hope you can use it when you're looking for something to watch. In all seriousness, television is both an intimate and public form of art. It's in our houses, living rooms, and bedrooms; we wake up with it, go to sleep with it and watch in between. It's both affected by and a product of our environment and culture. There is an ever changing slate, the rhythms of the seasons bring a mix both familiar and new. Fall, Midseason, Summer; live events and special presentations; music, award shows, and everyday programs alike reflect our collective humanity and imagination. Some shows are really special and lodge themselves forever in our hearts and in our minds, even though they have long aired their last episodes. Those are my favorites to look back on. This blog serves me as a memory book of what I've been watching.
